Canopy Tours

This day was purely fun. We had some free times so a bunch of us were able to go ziplinining. It was actually really educational. We were in a virgin rainforest, which means that none of the trees or foliage or anything have ever been cut down. New Zealand has no native natural predators but there are so many now. They taught us all about how the predators came over but I don't really remember everything about it. But basically the reason there are ziplines in this forest is so that they can use some of their revenues to help catch the predators that are taking out the native Kiwi birds and other birds that are native to New Zealand. We learned all of this as we were going through the forest. and then of course the ziplines were amazing!!!
